Copper Beech Reduction - High Wycombe

Recently, we carried out essential tree surgery work on two striking Copper Beech trees, both protected by Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs). Our experienced team managed the entire planning process from start to finish, liaising directly with the local authority on our client’s behalf to ensure everything was fully compliant and hassle-free.

The approved works involved a 2-metre crown reduction to both trees. This was necessary due to their close proximity to the client’s home and neighbouring properties, with one tree also significantly overhanging a busy highway. Both trees had previously been reduced quite heavily, which had impacted their natural form, so particular care was taken to improve structure, balance, and overall appearance while maintaining tree health.

All work was carried out by a qualified and competent climber, using professional rigging techniques to safely lower sections where required and protect surrounding property and infrastructure.

The result was two well-balanced, sympathetically reduced Copper Beech trees, with improved structure, enhanced safety, and a very happy customer — demonstrating our expertise in sensitive TPO tree work and high-quality tree surgery.
