FAQs

Can you quote my work over the phone?

Unfortunately we are unable to quote work from a verbal description. Every job is different, with each aspect of the job site effecting the price. This includes accessibility and damage risk factors.

How do I know if I need planning permission?

You can enquire with your local authority as to whether you are effected by any Conservation Areas or tree Preservation Orders. We are also happy to make necessary enquiries on your behalf.

How long are your quotes valid for?

Our quotes are valid for 60 days, as long as the landscape on site has not changed. This could include new sheds being built within close proximity, hot tubs being installed or a hole for a new garden pond!

Is there a fee for you to carry out a site visit?

Nope. We will visit the site, assess the work and make any necessary recommendations/advice as individually required, free of charge.
This does not include a written survey of your trees, as that is a paid service.

What is the best time of year to carry out pruning work on my trees?

Each species of tree is different. Get in touch with us today and we will be happy to advice.

Do you have the necessary insurance cover?

We hold full public liability insurance cover up to a value of £5,000,000. A copy of our insurance confirmation is provided alongside every written quote for your peace of mind.

My neighbours tree is overhanging my garden, am I aloud to cut it?

Legally, you are entitled to cut back any overhanging branches back to your boundary line without neighbours consent. However, we would strongly recommend speaking with your neighbour first!
